18 June 2025 – London, UK – Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland has today announced a new discovery+ true-crime commission The Kim Kardashian Heist (w/t), alongside three new linear series Guz Khan’s Custom Cars (w/t), Zero Stars and Rav Gill's Chop House.
Last month, 10 people stood trial in Paris, accused of being involved in the 2016 robbery of one of the world’s most famous reality stars, Kim Kardashian. The 3x60 series The Kim Kardashian Heist (w/t), produced by Wall to Wall Media and coming to discovery+ in September, will delve into the chain of events surrounding the robbery, which saw $6 million worth of jewellery stolen during Kardashian’s stay at the exclusive ‘No Address Hotel’ for Paris Fashion Week. With access to the accused, their defence, the police investigators and exclusive access to the concierge, Mr Ouatiki, who was held at gunpoint with Kim Kardashian that night, this fast-paced documentary series follows the French trial and unravels the complex layers of this extraordinary crime.
On linear, Quest will welcome a new face to its motoring family early next year with Guz Khan’s Custom Cars (w/t). Produced by Ricochet, this 8x60 series will see TV funny man and car enthusiast Guz Khan attempt to modify his own car. To help inspire him, Guz will embark on a journey to discover cars as unconventional as their owners. He will test drive their creations, providing laugh-out-loud moments whilst also learning more about what modifications can do for cars, as he makes his own journey from ‘car purist’ to ‘car modder’.
From cars to epically awful travel reviews, new series Zero Stars will see comedians and BFFs Roisin Conaty and Sara Pascoe journey across the globe - staying, eating and experiencing places with only the funniest and worst reviews in search of a truly unique experience they wouldn’t get from a five-star beach resort. This 8x60 series produced by CPL Productions (original format by Liquidminds and distributed by Primitives) will road test the comic pairings mantra that “one person’s trash is another person’s treasure” and five-star hotels, restaurants and entertainment are for cowards. Could we all be missing out on the adventure of a lifetime just because of a bad review? The series will air in early 2026.
Completing the line-up of new commissions, Rav Gill’s Chop House, a 10x30 series for Food Network, sees pastry chef and presenter Ravneet Gill and her husband Mattie take on their biggest challenge yet: opening their first restaurant, entirely self-funded and built from scratch. Produced by Yeti Television and airing in late 2025, the series follows the couple as they juggle renovations, recipe testing, menu writing, and team building, all while trying to stay sane (and married). It’s a raw and honest look at what it really takes to build a restaurant from the ground up. Expect high stakes, emotional highs and lows, and of course, plenty of delicious dishes.
Viewers can also look forward to a host of returning series; James May is back in his Wiltshire workshop to help fix Britain’s biggest bugbears with simple solutions and ingenious engineering in James May’s Shed Load of Ideas (w/t), coming to Quest in October. In each episode of this 8x60 series produced by Plum Pictures, James will tackle four problems, from everyday annoyances that bother Brits everywhere, to life hacks and repairs. The series will show off Wiltshire in all its green and pleasant glory and see James’s interactions in his pub with staff and customers, who he will include in his attempts to solve the world’s biggest small issues.
Also returning to Quest is Prospero-produced 20x60 series Outback Opal Hunters, back for its ninth season - and the stakes are high. Opal-rich earth is disappearing at record rates. Crippling government sanctions and a new wave of fortune hunters lay waste to the opal fields. Coveted claims are being fiercely guarded by embattled miners or sold at exorbitant prices. To thrive and expand, the Outback Opal Hunters need to buy and buy big. New claims, new equipment, and new teammates hungry for success are vital to build new opal empires. Strategy, luck and resilience collide in this series coming to screens in 2026.
discovery+ will also see the return of Vinnie Jones in the Country, as the hit series returns next year for a third 6x60 season, produced by Objective Entertainment, part of Objective Media Group (an All3Media company). With planning finally approved for the long-awaited Lakehouse renovation, the diggers are rolling in for a summer of construction chaos. But that’s just the beginning as Vinnie also surprises everyone with a brand-new build: a grand 'Manor House' he’s determined to complete by the end of summer. It’s not just Vinnie and Emma getting new digs - the farm’s wildlife and livestock are also benefitting from his bold plans, with Wobbly working hard on another 'manor' just for the chickens.
Celebrity Help! My House is Haunted, is also back on discovery+ for its fifth series in November. The 6x60 series, produced by Back2back Productions, features six spooked stars: Nancy Dell'Olio, Gary Numan, Suzanne Shaw, Beverly Callard, Simon Weston, and Antony Cotton. The series travels from historic Highland castles to sprawling Italian masserias where the enviable celebrity homes may look idyllic but inside they harbour chilling secrets, as the terrified celebrities experience ghostly apparitions, physical sensations and poltergeist activity. Confronting the eerie and unexplainable phenomena is a team of paranormal experts: Psychic Medium Ian Lawman, Tech Expert Barri Ghai and Investigator Jayne Harris, who dig deep into the history of each location, uncovering dark pasts that could be impacting the hauntings. This season will also see Katrina Weidman, a renowned American paranormal investigator, joining the team.
On the Discovery Channel, Mike Brewer and Marc 'Elvis' Priestley are also back - hitting the road once again in Wheeler Dealers World Tour, with series 2 airing in October. In this 10x60 show produced by All3Media’s North One and Objective Entertainment (part of Objective Media Group), the pair will travel from the bustling streets of Latin America to the scenic routes of Eastern Europe. As Mike sets out to unearth vehicles to capture the spirit of each nation, Elvis will take on the monumental task of restoring them, alongside a crew of talented local mechanics.
Graham Lafferty, SVP Content Strategy and Networks, WBD UK & Ireland, said: “With all eyes on one of the most intriguing true crime stories in recent years, we’re pleased to work with Wall to Wall on The Kim Kardashian Heist. With first-hand and exclusive testimony from those closest to the heist, including concierge Abderrahmane Ouatiki, this documentary dives deep into new aspects of the case and is a must watch on discovery+.

“These new series will join a line-up of much-loved returners across discovery+ and our linear channels with James May’s Shed Load of Ideas (w/t), Vinnie Jones in the Country, Wheeler Dealers World Tour, Outback Opal Hunters and Celebrity Help! My House is Haunted.’’
The series were ordered by Graham Lafferty and commissioned by Charlotte Reid for Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland.
